Cindy and John met on October 15, 2023 at the first port of a Mediterranean cruise in Santorini, Greece. They met during a winery tour just outside the city, followed by espresso martinis on a cliff overlooking Santorini.

Over the course of the cruise, they explored the beautiful Greek islands and Italy, enjoying both the destinations and each other’s company.

They returned to their separate coasts, but the year that followed was filled with travel, meeting new friends, and spending time with family across both sides of the country.

John proposed in a storybook way at the Eiffel Tower one year later in Paris.
